About Dry.

Hello! Welcome to Dry. Alternative Recovery!

Dry. Alternative Recovery was created by Erin Lake in early 2020. Erin was 4 years sober when he came up with the idea to create a brand that was suitable for recovering addicts. A brand that you could represent proudly as a recovering addict, but with a more modern and minimalistic style.

Inclusion within the sober community is something we have been focusing on since the beginning. The call for inclusion is what motivated us to create this safe space for everyone, no matter their journey in recovery. We want Dry. to be a place where anyone who struggles with any addiction to be welcomed and supported through their Dry. journey, no matter how they choose to do it.

In today’s day and age, there are so many different personalities, preferences and interests. And we believe recovery should be the same way. What works for most, may not work for the rest. Everyone’s recovery is different, and Erin wanted to create something that would fit everyone. Regardless of style, addiction, or how you’re staying in recovery. Most of our items are unisex and are the perfect fit for every shape and size.

The crowning jewel for Dry. is our Dry. Journal. The journal was the most important thing when it came to what Dry. would provide. We wanted to create a journal that would be suitable for everyone, to check in with themselves and stay accountable. The Dry. Journal is our first step towards creating a space for everyone to come into themselves while on their journey through recovery.

We have worked really hard on getting where we are and we are still working hard on what is to come! We want to say thank you to all of our supporters and we hope that you enjoy what we have to offer!

Dry. Journal

Recovery looks different for everyone. There’s no one sure way to recover from an addiction. The Dry. Journal is a prompt journal that was intentionally created for EVERY recovering addict. No matter how you choose to recover.
We are living in different times, and the conventional way of recovery is not always accessible, or even preferred by some. Use this journal to hold yourself accountable, express how you are feeling and to track your progress through your first year in recovery. During the harder days, reflect back on your entries to see what you’ve made it through already and use it as motivation. Think of this as your own private and personal meeting on the go.

Dry. Journal: All Dry.d Up

Dry. Journal: All Dry.d Up was made for those of us who are further into our recovery journeys. We may not feel the need to check in every day like we did in the beginning, and that’s ok! This journal is filled with prompts that get us to deep dive into who we are now outside of active addiction, as well as blank entry pages for when you want to celebrate making it through another stressful situation Dry.

Dry. Journal: Family Edition

Dry. is a place for anyone who has been affected by addiction in any way. That includes the family and friends of the person in active addiction. There are a whole different set of struggles that come with loving someone in addiction and this journal has been created just for that reason.
As a recovering addict, I know that I put my family and friends through a lot. Because of that, it was important to me to put together a journal just for you. Our loved ones. The ones who care so much about us that they end up putting themselves on the front lines of our toxic behaviors.
Sometimes we get caught up in worrying about or caring for the people we love that we forget to take care of ourselves. I hope that this journal can be a start in helping our loved ones make some time for themselves.
